Michels Corporation is seeking MBE/WBE Certified Contractors and Suppliers for subcontracting opportunities for the City of Greensboro, NC. The project is "South Elm Street Water Main Structural Lining Project", Contract 2017-065. We are soliciting quotes for the following items: Traffic Control & Flashing Arrow Boards, Set-up and Removal of Temporary Bypass with Temporary Water Services, Waterline Cleaning & Televising of Existing Pipe, Excavation/Removals, Concrete Curb & Gutter/Sidewalks/Driveways, Remove & Replace Roadway Pavement, Seeding & Mulching Lawn Areas, Fescue Sod, Erosion Control & Landscaping, Piping Modifications and Valve & Hydrant Installation, Disinfection & Pressure Testing, Repair Private Back Flow Preventer, Soil Density Compaction Test, Furnish & Install Water Main Tie-Overs/Obstruction Pits/Gate Valves/Copper Tubing/Meter Setter/Meter Box. Testing of the Epoxy Lining material (per Batch), as well as any applicable items not listed. All quotations applicable to the construction of this project will be accepted and reviewed.
