Cratus, Inc are requesting quotes from Certified DBE Subcontractors, Suppliers & Haulers for construction of the Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District Mare Island Sewer & Water Main Replacement Project

Base Bid Project Description: Project involves two horizontal direction drilling installations consisting of 2,600 LF of bundled 22" sanitary sewer force main, 12.75" recycled water pipe, and (2) 4.5" fiber optic pipes, and 2,610 LF of bundled (2) 18" water mains and (2) 4.5" fiber optic pipes. Project also includes potentially contaminated soils and groundwater double handling, sampling, testing, and disposal.

Additive Bid Item #1 Project Description: Project involves open cut trench installation of 3,085 LF of 22" sanitary sewer force main, 121 LF of bundled 22" sanitary sewer force main and 12.75" recycled water, 23 LF of 20" sanitary sewer, and 60 LF of bundled 22" sanitary sewer force main and 12.75" recycled water in a 48" diameter casing under a railroad crossing. Project also includes installation of two manholes with Prediliners, cathodic protection, traffic control, valves, combined air valves, erosion control, and potentially contaminated soils and groundwater double handling, sampling, testing, and disposal.

Additive Bid Item #2 Project Description: Project involves open cut installation of 1,128 LF of 24" water main, 64 LF of (2) 18" water mains, construction of water valve vaults, one open cut railroad crossing, cathodic protection, traffic control, valves, blow offs, combined air valves, erosion control, and potentially contaminated soils and groundwater double handling, sampling, testing, and disposal.

Additive Bid Item #3 Project Description: Project involves open cut installation of 1,802 LF of 24" water main in River Park, tee, valves and fittings, and potentially contaminated soils and groundwater double handling, sampling, testing, and disposal.

Quotes are Requested from qualified contractors for scopes including but not limited to, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), Trucking, Utility locating, Surveying, Traffic Control, Saw-cutting & Supply of Construction aggregate, Pipe and other materials.

The Engineers Estimate for the project is $11.000,000.00
