The project is a Material Bid for the installation of a water main in the Towns of Geneva, Waterloo and Phelps. The water main will be PVC SDR 18, HDPE and PVC restrained joint. Sizes of main will range from 6" to 14". Refer to Itemized Proposal for length of pipe required to complete the project for these three (3) Towns. Valves, hydrants, service connections, service tubing, fittings and accessories will be part of the bid. All water main will be installed by Town forces.

In accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, sealed Bids for material procurement of the Multi-Town Water Improvements will be received at the office of the Town of Geneva, 3750 County Road 6, Geneva, New York 14456, until 2:00 PM local time on June 2, 2017, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office after May 15, 2017.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Town of Geneva, 3750 County Road 6, Geneva, New York 14456 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM; at plan rooms, or online through internet based construction information subscription services.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $10.00 for each set, payable to the Town of Geneva. No print documents will be issued. Bidder is responsible for costs associated with printing the Digital Documents. In order for a bid to be considered valid, Bid Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office only. Bidding Documents obtained from any other source are for examination only, are not considered complete and are not valid for bidding purposes.
