Project Description: Construction of approximately 7,575 feet of 8-inch and 15-inch gravity sewer pipe, jack and bore of approximately 426 feet of 30” steel casing pipe and approximately 505 feet of 16” FPVC carrier pipe, open trench installation of approximately 147 feet of 30” PVC casing and 154 feet of 16” FPVC carrier pipe abandonment of 11,657 feet of existing 8-inch and 10-inch sewer pipe, installation of 26 new manholes, reconnection of sewer lines and laterals, 8-inch waterline relocation, 36-inch RCP storm drain diversion, maintaining sewer service, restoration of pavement and striping, landscaping, replacement of concrete improvements, removal of trees, traffic control erosion control, protection of existing utilities, testing and inspection and all other work and appurtenances in accordance with the Contract Documents

LHWS encourages all interested SBE, DVBE, MBE, WBE, SLBE, ELBE and OBE companies to contact us at least 2 days prior to the bid due date to review with us your proposed scope of work. If bonds are required, LHWS will pay the cost of the bond to a maximum of 1% of the contract value. LHWS is willing to assist all SBE, DVBE, MBE, WBE, SLBE, ELBE and OBE subcontractors/suppliers in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, and/or insurance. LHWS is willing to work with all qualified subcontractors/suppliers to establish acceptable delivery schedules, when work requirements permit. The schedule is the sole responsibility of LHWS and will not be mutually agreed upon. Subcontractors will be required to abide by the terms of the AGC Master Labor Agreements and to execute an agreement utilizing the latest L. H. Woods & Sons, Inc. Standard Subcontract/Purchase Agreement incorporating prime contract terms and conditions, including payment provisions.
