Alabbasi Construction is seeking qualified Minority Business Enterprises, Woman owned Business Enterprises, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE/DBE) firms for subcontracting, material supply, and equipment rental opportunities in preparation for its bid to The San Bernardino County Transportation Authority ("SBCTA"). The project generally consists of constructing a new interchange at the intersection of Pepper Avenue and State Route 210. The project is generally located in the City of Rialto at or near the intersection of State Route 210 and pepper Avenue. Major subcontracting trades required include: AC Paving, AC Cold Milling, Reinforcing Steel, Landscaping, Structural Concrete Construction, Concrete Pavement, Traffic Signals, Lighting, Electrical, Signal Loop Construction, Signing, Striping, Manhole Construction, Storm Drain Structure Construction, Pre-Construction Video Inspection, Traffic Control/ Construction Area Signing, Traffic Plan Preparation, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Preparation and Implementation, Street Sweeping, Material and Equipment Transportation, and other services as may be deemed necessary. Material supply opportunities include: Aggregate Base, Asphalt, Concrete, Lumber, Concrete Forming Accessories,, Manhole Shafting, Manhole Rings and Covers, Steel Casings, Gravel Bags, Silt Fences, etc… Equipment rental opportunities include: Excavation Equipment, Earth Moving and Grading Equipment, Street Sweeping Equipment, and Water Trucks. The total project value is estimated at approximately $14,400,000 and has a contract duration of 220 working days. Alabbasi is willing to breakdown discrete items of work into small more economically feasible units to encourage more participation from WBE/MBE/DBE firms. Alabbasi may require bonding of any subcontract over $100,000, however assistance will be made available in obtaining bonds, insurance, and lines of credit.
