TerraCon Constructors, Inc. is accepting quotes from, but not limited to, Certified DBEs, SBEs(Small Business Enterprises), WBEs (Women-owned Business Enterprises) and MBEs (Minority-owned Business Enterprises) for Subcontractors and Suppliers for construction, equipment, supplies, and services for the following:
Project Name: Highway 29 Force Main Project
Owner: City of Lakeport
Project Location: Lakeport, California
Bid Date: December 14, 2016, 11:00AM
Pre-Bid Meeting: December 6, 2016, 10:00AM @ 818 Lakeport Blvd, Lakeport, CA 95453 (Encouraged, but not required)
Estimated Cost is: between $550,000.00 and $575,000.00.
Project Details: The Project consists of the horizontal directional drilling of approximately 600 feet of 18-inch fusible PVC casing and installation of approximately 600 feet of 12-inch fusible PVC force main within the casing beneath Highway 29, along with tie-ins at both ends to the existing sewer system. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work.

Quotes requested include, but are not limited to, the following scopes of work to encourage DBE participation: Local Trucking, Road Striping and Marking, Fencing, Piping Materials, Rock and Bedding, Street Sweeping, Survey/Staking, Erosion Control, Grading/Paving, Traffic Control, Concrete, Horizontal Drilling and any other trade and/or materials including partial items required by the project plans & specs.

TerraCon Constructors, Inc. is available to assist with any questions regarding the scope of work, requirements, plans & specs, bonds, lines of credit, and insurance. TerraCon Constructors, Inc. may also assist in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. Plans and Specifications, and requirements can be viewed at our Healdsburg office, and as well, are available to download free of charge from CIPLIST.com. Please note that this is a prevailing wage project. TerraCon Constructors, Inc. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. All subcontractors will be required to enter our standard contract and must be Union, or willing to sign a one time job agreement unless there are no Union Contractors who perform your specific trade. Payment and Performance Bonds may be required of all Subcontractors. Proof of DBE certification must be submitted with your bid.
