South Capitol Bridgebuilders, an EEO Employer, is currently soliciting cost proposals from Qualified and Certified DBE subcontractors / vendors / service providers, for the Design-Build Contract South Capitol Street Corridor Construction Phase 1, Washington DC District of Columbia.
Client: District Department of Transportation.
Technical Proposal Due Date: November 14, 2016
Cost Proposal Due Date: November 21, 2016.
All Quotations are due by COB Monday, November 14, 2016.

The Project components designated as Segments 1 and 2 are described below.
1. Segment 1: Removal and replacement of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge. Construction of the bridge approach ovals, connection to adjacent streets and reconstruction of adjacent streets. Realignment of South Capitol Street within the limits of the Project.
2. Segment 2: Replacement of the Interstate 295 bridges over Howard Road, Suitland Parkway and Firth Sterling. Reconstruction of the Interstate 295/Suitland Parkway Interchange.

Potential scopes for work needed may include:

Asphalt Paving, Concrete Flatwork, Demolition, Disposal Facilities, Diving, Equipment Hauling, Equipment Rental, Fuel Supply, Landscaping, Maintenance of Traffic, Misc. Geotechnical Instrumentation, QA/QC Services, Electrical, Utility Relocations, Retaining Walls, Structural Steel, Construction Supplies, Material Supplies – Pipe, Aggregate, Concrete, etc., Office Supplies, Painting – Bridge, Rebar – Furnish & Install, Safety Equipment, Signage, Striping.
