A) Installation and engagement of an Alternate Load Path (ALP) System utilizing high capacity deep foundation(s) at skewbacks – 4 totals in total;
B) Encapsulation of concrete skewbacks with new concrete encasement around stem of skewback – 4 locations in total;
C) Replacement of North and South Viaduct Piers (bent pedestals) substructures – 16 locations in total;
D) Replacement of Lower Level North Abutment pilasters – 2 locations in total;
E) Design, install, operate, and maintain structural health monitoring system during construction operations and following Substantial Completion for a period of 2 years; and
F) Additional items:
1) Bearing replacement at Bent 9 and 10 and Lower Level North Abutment
2) Drainage downspout relocation
3) Temporary utility relocation
4) Security fence replacement
5) Tree removal and landscape restoration
6) Temporary support of superstructure at bent pedestals and Lower Level North Abutment pilasters
