Project Details
Project is a Sandy Rehabilitation for the Clifton transit train shop in Staten Island. The construction of a shop will be required as well as the associated MEP, signal, track, civil, and etc work. Given the site’s location, to bring to the Category 2 flood requirements, the entire site will be required to raise 14 feet, or create a bathtub like retaining wall at that height. Need to maintain shop and add six additional tracks. Shop holds eight cars long train and diff vehicle on Staten Island.
Scope of work: demolition of current buildings, new maintenance facility and buildings (for Hurricane Cat 2 + 3' resiliency); utility work, DC power ducts and cabling
