Suulutaaq Inc is bidding the clear and grub package for Segment 1 of Construction Package 2-3 for High Speed Rail. This package includes some 20 miles of clear and grub from Fresno County to Tulare County. Scopes sought include
1) Well Abandonment
2) Chemical Toilet
3) Equipment Rentals
4) Dump and Recycler Locations
5) Trailer Rentals
6) Construction Material Suppliers
7) Klein Tank and Generator Rentals
8) Water Truck Operators
9) 10-Wheel and Semi End-Dump Trucking and
10) Equipment Transport.
11) Building Demo
12) Hazmat Testing of Existing Buildings

Complete plans are not available for the clear and grub portion of this design-build project. Suulutaaq is instead looking for subs and vendors willing to provide unit rates for the scopes listed above.

For example; the authority and the joint venture have provided NO data on the 30 each well abandonments. Suulutaaq is looking for DBE and SBE subs who can provide this abandonment cost at a unit rate that will cover all unforeseen eventualities.
