The Work, in general, consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and other services necessary for the performance of all operations to construct permanent physical barriers consisting of any combination of chain link fences and gates, Caltrans K-rail topped with chain link fence, and poles and chains, in various locations as indicated. The Work includes drilling and bonding dowels in concrete; drilling and bonding dowels with chemical adhesives; cast-in-place concrete; precast concrete; clearing and grubbing; locating existing utilities; protection of existing utilities; earthwork; and grounding and bonding of new barriers.

The Work includes: Mobilization, construction phasing, construction barriers, demolition, excavation, traffic control, site preparation and maintenance during construction, removal of excess material and clean up after construction.
