Alabbasi Construction is seeking qualified Minority Business Enterprises, Woman owned Business Enterprises, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE/DBE) firms for subcontracting, material supply, and equipment rental opportunities in preparation for its bid to San Bernardino County Associated Governments (SANBAG) for the Tippecanoe Avenue Interchange Phase 2 Project, Contract No. C14164. The project generally consists of: Reconstruction of existing interchange as a partial cloverleaf configuration, widening of I-10 Bridge over Tippecanoe Avenue, and realignment and widening of various local streets. The project is generally located in and around the Cities of San Bernardino and Loma Linda at and around the I-10 and Tippecanoe Avenue Interchange. Major subcontracting trades required include: Clearing, Tree Cutting, Saw cutting, Roadway Excavation, Trucking, Street Sweeping, Structure Excavation, Structural Concrete, Bar Reinforcing Steel, Concrete Barrier Construction, Import Borrow, Type Y2- ADL Soil Disposal, Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement, Seal Pavement Joints, A.C. Cold Milling, A.C. Paving, Manhole Adjustments, Signal Loop Construction, Striping, Signing, Fencing/ MBGR, Street Lighting, Traffic Signal Systems, Irrigation Systems, and Landscape Planting. Material supply opportunities include: Manhole Shafting, Concrete, Aggregate Base, Asphalt, Manhole Rings and Covers, Gravel Bags, Silt Fences, etc? Equipment rental opportunities include: Excavation Equipment, Earth Moving and Grading Equipment, Street Sweeping Equipment, Various types of Dump Trucks/ Belly Dump Trucks and Water Trucks. The total project value is estimated at approximately $14,000,000 and has a contract duration of 280 working days. Alabbasi is willing to breakdown discrete items of work into small more economically feasible units to encourage more participation from WBE/MBE/DBE firms.

Alabbasi may require bonding of any subcontract over $100,000, however assistance will be made available in obtaining bonds, insurance, and lines of credit.
