Requesting Sub-bids from Qualified DBE Subcontractors for: Environmental Services for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). Leighton Consulting, Inc. is looking for currently certified "Race Conscious Disadvantaged Business Enterprise"(RC DBE) firms serving the Los Angeles County that can provide services for Preliminary Endangerment Assessment, Construction of Environmental Remedial Treatment Systems, Toxicology/Health Risk Analysis, Geophysical Survey, Analytical Testing, Waste Transportation, Soil Excavation/Trenching, Groundwater Modeling and Fate & Transport Studies, Surveying, Drilling, Traffic Control, Asbestos and Lead Assessment, design of treatment, storage, and disposal facilities (TSDFs), compliance with Industrial SWPPP, NPDES, Air Monitoring, Industrial Sewer Programs, Various Biochemical Measuring Devices, SPCCC Plans, and Mobile Laboratories. The Race Conscious male and female owned DBE groups include: African Americans, Asian Pacific Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Subcontinent Asian Americans. All DBE firms must be certified under the California Unified Certification Program (CUCP) by the bid/proposal due date. Quotes are due by August 6, 2014 to be considered.
