Engelke Construction, Inc. is seeking qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for Construction on State Hwy in Marin County near Point Reyes Station at 1.9 miles North of Point Reyes Petaluma Road for Cal Trans contact #04-4S4504. Services Needed: Lead compliance plan, construction area signs, traffic control system, temporary signal, temporary K-railing, portable changeable message sign, temporary fence (ESA), construction site management, 24" drilled hole, concrete related services, street sweeping, channelizer, prepare water pollution control program, temporary and permanent pavement marking and removal, clearing and grubbing, cold planning, hot mix asphalt, metal beam guard railing, steel soldier pile, hot mix asphalt, clean and paint soldier pile, roadway excavation, temporary traffic screen, treated wood waste, temporary crash cushion, temporary construction entrance, trucking, temporary active treatment system.

Requirements: Bids may be faxed or emailed. Please make sure that prior to bid time your quotation is received by our company. Scope letters should be submitted the day before bid date. Bonds may be required:100% Performance and 100% Payment for the full amount of subcontractor's price. Surety companies will have to be approved by Engelke Construction, Inc. Engelke may pay up to 1.5% of bond premium. Union signatory is required. Engelke's listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor's conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor's b id proposal. Quotations must be valid for the same duration ad specified by the owner for contract award. Engelke is relying in the price submitted in the subcontractor's proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope contained in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifing language in the proposal. Plans and specifications may be obtained through Caltrans at http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/ese/oe/weekly_ads/project_output.php, local planrooms, builder's exchanges as well as trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or the North Coast Builder's Exchange.
