Griffith Company is seeking qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the Norris Road from Calloway to Knudsen Dr./Olive to Golden State project in Bakersfield for Kern County Roads. We are soliciting quotes for the following items: Temporary Pavement Delineation; Adjust Frame and Cover to Grade (Sewer); Cold Plane Asphalt Concrete Pavement; Saw Asphalt Concrete and Portland Cement Concrete; Clearing and Grubbing; Develop Water Supply; Roadway Excavation; Roadway Excavation (Dig-Out Areas); Shoulder Backing; Finishing Roadway; Class 2 Aggregate Base; Asphalt Concrete; Asphalt concrete (3/8" Maximum); Place Asphalt Concreter Dike (Type E); Asphaltic Emulsion (Paint Binder); Survey Monument; Thermoplastic Pavement Marking; Paint Traffic Stripe (2-Coat); Remove Manhole Pad; Adjust Water Valve Cover to Grade; Adjust Frame and Cover to Grade (Storm Drain); Adjust Frame and Cover to Grade (Water Vault); Remove Concrete Sidewalk; Saw Portland Cement Concrete (Curb Breakdown); Asphalt Concrete (1/2"); Paving Asphalt (Binder-Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer); Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer (Paving Mat); Asphaltic Emulsion (Paint Binder); Minor Concrete (Sidewalk); Minor Concrete (Curb Ramp); and Inductive Loop Detectors.

Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. Subcontractors must also be signatory to a union. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontracts must have a current contractor's license, insurance and be required to sign the standard Griffith Company agreement (without any changes made to such agreement).
