Archer Western is accepting bid proposals for Signal Hill Water Treatment Plant Optimization (the Project) in Park City, UT. We are asking for subcontractors and suppliers to submit their proposals to Archer Western by October 12 to allow time for review.

The Project includes the following Work:
1. Rerouted raw water pipe between Signal Hill raw water pond (onsite) and the treatment plant.
2. New pumped flash mix system.
3. Vertical flocculators in existing basins.
4. Dry-pit membrane feed pumps.
5. Removal of existing membrane filtration skids and installation of new skids.
6. New GAC building extension and additional GAC contactors.
7. Solids improvements including conversion of an existing basin into an equalization basin, a new solids holding tank, a new belt filter press, and a new belt conveyor.
8. A new Chemical Building to house chemical storage and feed systems.

The GAC building expansion and mechanical dewatering improvements (belt filter press and belt conveyor) are included in Bid Alternate A. Some improvements to the existing GAC are included in the Base Bid.

The membrane system supplier has been pre-selected by the Owner and the purchase agreements with the selected membrane system supplier will be assigned to the General Contractor who is awarded the construction contract for this project.

Electrical distribution equipment has been pre-purchased by the Owner and the purchase agreements with the selected equipment supplier will be assigned to the General Contractor who is awarded the construction contract for this project.
