The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction
and installation of the following work:

Base Bid I: The Water Main Improvements for this project consist of the installation of approximately 9,500
linear feet of 24-inch diameter approved potable water pipeline; approximately 185 linear feet of 24-inch
diameter ductile iron - class 200; approximately 830 linear feet of 30-inch diameter HDPE - DR 11;
approximately 350 linear feet of PVC C-900 potable water line; approximately 40 linear feet of PVC DI CL 350;
approximately 410 linear feet of 48-inch Fiberglass Reinforced Pipe (FRP) casing installed by boring methods;
approximately 70 linear feet of 48-inch Fiberglass Reinforced Pipe (FRP) casing by Open-Cut Methods;
approximately 13 Manway Access; approximately 14-24-inch diameter gate valves with manholes;
approximately 7-12-inch gate valves; approximately 9 Combination Air Release/Vacuum Valves of different
sizes with manholes; approximately 4 Blow-Off Valves with manholes; Fire Hydrant Installation; Corrosion
Protection System along the potable water pipeline; Trench Safety System for the potable water pipeline; HMAC
Pavement Removal and Replacement; Reflective Pavement Markings; Concrete Hardscape; Videotaping of
project site before and after construction, SWPPP and a Traffic Control Plan/Operation.

Base Bid II: The project will be comprised of unit price items to include the installation of approximately 3,070
linear feet of 16-inch Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) water main with cathodic protection; approximately 32 linear
feet of 12-inch Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) water main; approximately 80 linear feet of 6-inch Polyvinyl Chloride
(PVC) water main; 80 linear feet of 30-inch steel casing by open cut method; (7) 16-inch Vertical Gate Valves
with manhole assemblies; (1) 3-inch air/vacuum combination valve assemblies; (2) 6-inch Blow-Off Valve with
Manhole assemblies; trench safety system; SWPPP; traffic control; videotaping before and after construction
and all miscellaneous piping, valve, fittings, and appurtenances; and other site work necessary for the proper
installation of this project as shown in the plans and technical specifications.
