Emergency Notification System - Alyssa's Law Compliant Technology Deployment
NG10651
SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PHILADELPHIA
Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA
06/17/2025 at 11
Each school must have a panic alert system for security emergencies that directly and immediately notifies local law enforcement upon activation. The system should include silent manual alerts and offer customizable alert levels—e.g., internal-only or law enforcement notifications.
A variety of technologies may be used (e.g., wired/wireless buttons, badges, mobile or desktop apps) as long as minimum requirements are met. Proposals may include enhanced features, but these must be clearly described with associated benefits, use cases, and any added costs.
The proposal should include detailed plans and costs for installation, deployment, and first-year technical support. Any physical installation requirements must be clearly stated. Proposers must also outline ongoing annual support, including service tiers and associated pricing.
A comprehensive training plan for both administrators and users must be provided. Training may be in-person, live online, self-paced online, or a combination. Initial rollout and annual training costs must be clearly detailed.
