The federal Department of Labor (per the Davis-Bacon Act) and/or the Commissioner of The Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI,
18-2-401 and 18-2-402, MCA) have established the standard prevailing rate of wages to be paid. The Contractor and all subcontractors shall, at minimum, pay the higher rate on a per-trade basis. Regardless of the rate schedule used, certified payroll records are to be submitted to the Owner on a WEEKLY basis.
