Knife River Construction is requesting pricing from DBE subcontractors, suppliers and trucking for the following types of work/bid Items, including but not limited to: WPC, Erosion Control, SWPPP, Construction Area Signs, Flagging, Sweeping, Mill AC, Grinding, Roadway Excavation, AC Pavement Repair, AC Overlay, Pavement Fabric, Micro surfacing, Trucking, Concrete Removal, Curb & Gutter, Sidewalks, Curb Ramps, Hot Mix Asphalt, Aggregate Base, Oil, Striping, Electrical, and Traffic Signal Loops

Requirements: Knife River Construction (KRC) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, and Cement Masons unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting KRC's requirements and will be required to sign the standard KRC Subcontract Agreement. Subcontractors must be compliant with SB 854 DIR Public Works Registration. All quotes must be in compliance with project plans and specifications for this specific project. KRC intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.

Payment and Performance bonds may be required. Insurance companies with a "Best" rating of "A" may be required.

Knife River is willing to breakout any portion of work to encourage DBE participation. We offer assistance with bonds, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies, materials or project plans and specifications.
