CEC requires 100% Payment & Performance Bonds from a single, treasury-listed surety subject to our approval. CEC will pay bond premiums up to 1.5%. Please include a bond premium with your quote. All Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance, and worker's compensation coverage meeting the contract requirements, and must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Please include both your State Contactor License No. and DIR No. on your quote. Subcontracts awarded on this project will use CEC's standard subcontract form without modifications
Plans and specifications are available for viewing in our Pleasanton office between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment. They may also be obtained from the Caltrans website or our Dropbox File sharing server. Please contact us for instructions on downloading from Dropbox.
