Newell Sewer Collection and Pumping Station Improvements

The work contemplated generally includes, but is not limited to: video inspection of existing sewer; furnishing and installing 18,300 feet of sanitary sewer and appurtenances; 4,332 feet of sewer force main, a sewage pumping station, a sewage comminutor, pumping station site and electrical work, demolition and removal of 2 sewage pumping stations, and old manholes and cleanouts, clearing and grubbing an area for application of dried sludge. Mobilization, traffic control, project signage, video and electronic inspection of sewers, furnish and install 8" 3034 sewer pipe, furnish and install 4" 3030 sewer service in ROW, Furnish and install 8X4 wye for service connection, furnish and install double cleanout at property line, furnish and install 4" 3034 sewer lateral line from property line to connection at house, furnish and install cleanout at house connection on sewer, trench excavation and backfill for 8" 3034 sewer pipe 0-10', trench excavation and backfill for 8" 3034 sewer pipe 10'-15', trench excavation and backfill for 8" 3034 sewer pipe 15'-20', trench excavation and backfill for 4" sewer service in R/W, trench excavation and backfill for 4" sewer service on private property, unsuitable excavation and backfill with class 2 aggregate base, paved road crossing, 8" and 4" sewer pipe and 6" force main, 4" gravel surfacing for private driveway crossing, furnish and install sewer manhole complete in place 0-10', furnish and install sewer manhole complete and in place 10'-15', furnish and install grinder, complete in place, furnish and install sewage pumping station, complete in place, furnish and install flow meter, includes vault and remote readout at electrical panel, furnish and install all electrical components at pumping station site, site work at sewage pumping station site, includes clearing and grubbing, grading, aggregate for surfacing and fencing, furnish and install 6" C900 sewer force main, trench excavation and backfill for 6" sewer force main, furnish and install 6" 90, 45, 22 ½ deg. Elbow for force main, including restrains, furnish and install 6" valve at connection to existing force main, furnish and install 4" valve at connecition to existing force main, remove existing pumping station, restrore area to before condition and dispose of, remove and obliterate existing old sewer manholes to depth of 3 feet and restore area, clear and grub sludge disposal area so suitable for framing operations.

Rocky Mountain Construction, L.L.C. will work with suppliers and subcontractors to break-down work items into smaller more manageable opportunities.

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license and comply with all California registration requirements. All subcontractors are required to obtain a Department of Industrial Relations registration number and provide the number to RMC at bid time with their quote. Subcontractors must have worker's compensation and insurance coverage at limits acceptable to RMC during the length of the prime contract and include Waiver of Subrogation to RMC on insurance policies. RMC may require subcontractors to provide 100% performance and payment bonding for their value of work. If required by RMC, we will reimburse bonding costs up to 1.5% of the total subcontract value.
