Government Contracting Certifications for Small Business

San Diego, Orange, & Imperial Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is hosting a webinar on "Government Contracting Certifications for Small Business". The webinar provides an intro to various certifications available specifically from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the state of California. SBA programs include the 8(a) Business Development Program, the Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) program, the HUBZone program (for businesses in disadvantaged areas), and the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) program. California State certifications include the Small Business (SBE) certification, the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) certification, and the new Small Business (for the purpose of Public Works), or SB-PW certification. Information on applying for these certifications and their benefits will be presented.
