Norcal Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is hosting a four-part series on Matchmaker Prep. Matchmaker events, in which businesses will have an opportunity at networking events and other venues to get meeting time with government procurement representatives, can be a vital part of getting government contract work. The series is particularly pitched at small businesses, especially those already certified as SBEs or DVBEs. The first event in the series will cover how to make a good first impression, how to make the most of new online and virtual norms in matchmaking, and how to anticipate what buyers need to hear.
