Government Certifications - California and National

The SoCal Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) are teaming up to host a webinar on government certifications. Programs and certifications at the federal level that will be covered include the Vets First Verification Program, the 8(a) Business Development Program, the Woman-Owned Small Business certification, the HUBZone program, and the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business certification. California state-level certifications that will be covered include the Small Business certification, the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise certification, and the new Small Business (for the purpose of Public Works) certification. Attendees will learn more about the benefits of these programs in seeking government contract work and how to apply for the certifications.
