The Design-Build Team’s Minority / Woman Business Enterprises, and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (M/WBE/SDVOBs) Outreach is designed to facilitate interaction with New York State certified contractors, system integrators, suppliers and vendors to increase the awareness of opportunities available on the Queens Midtown Tunnel and Hugh L. Carey Tunnel projects. Specific projects covered include: QM-81 - Rehabilitation of Tunnel Controls and Communication Systems at the Queens-Midtown Tunnel & Hugh L. Carey Tunnel and HC-30/QM-91 - Installation of Fire Alarm & Smoke Detection Systems at the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel & Queens- Midtown Tunnel Ventilation & Exhaust Buildings, Service Buildings & Drainage Pump Room. E-J Electric has been awarded this project by MTA Bridges & Tunnels. The agenda includes a breakfast with time for networking, a welcome address and project overview, a presentation on "Vetting the E-J Way", and a Q&A session with scope-specific breakout sessions.
