Austin Disparity Study Public Interest Meeting

The City of Austin's Small and Minority Business Resources Department (SMBR) is hosting a Public Interest Meeting on the topic of an upcoming disparity study analyzing the use of MBEs, WBEs, and DBEs in Austin public contracting. The meeting will take place at Austin City Hall. The disparity study aims to analyze whether or not and to what extent there are disparities between the number of available businesses covered in the scope of the study and the city's utilization of those businesses in procurement. The meeting will gave the public a chance to provide input into and learn more about this upcoming study.
