The state of Vermont maintains the policy, overseen through the Buildings and General Services (BGS) agency, that Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in state contracts. Being certified as a M/WBE by the state allows one to be listed in the directory of M/WBEs.

Does this certification expire? A single self-certification form is provided by the program operated by BGS.
