Palm Beach County, through its Office of Small Business Assistance, operates a certification program for small, minority-owned, and woman-owned business enterprises (S/M/WBEs). There is a minimum mandatory goal of 20 percent SBE participation for all county contracts. In addition, there is an Affirmative Procurement Initiative plan that applies to S/M/WBEs, and a system of points and preferences for S/M/WBEs that are bidding as primes or responding as primes to RFPs.

Does this certification expire? The certifications are offered for a period of three years.

How do I get re-certified? A recertification addifavit is provided by the county.
