Golden Bay Construction will be accepting quotes from DBE subcontractors & suppliers. The engineer's estimate for the project is $301,422 and has a 12% DBE participation goal. If your firm is interested in submitting a quote, please feel free to bid on any item within your scope of work. We are seeking quotes for (but not limited to) the following items survey, slurry seal, crack fill, striping and signage, material suppliers (aggregate base, concrete, asphalt, rcp and inlet iron, etc.). When economically feasible, items of work can and will be divided into small tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation of DBE businesses. We encourage subcontractors and/or suppliers submitting prices to utilize DBE businesses. This may be accomplished through second tier subcontracting, owner-operator equipment, or the purchase of supplies. All plans and specifications may be reviewed in our office. We will be happy to email you any information you require to formulate a bid. Electronic copies of plans and specifications are also available. Golden Bay Construction is a union shop and subcontractors will be required to be signatory and in good standing. Golden Bay Construction would appreciate your interest on the project.
