RTA Construction, Inc. is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) for the Starlite Pines Mutual Water Company Storage Capacity Improvements Project in Shingletown, CA. Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Storage Capacity Improvements Project will be received by Starlite Pines Mutual Water Company, 8074 Starlite Pines Road, Shingletown, CA 96088, care of PACE Engineering, Inc., 5155 Venture Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 until 3:00 p.m. local time on May 5, 2022, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing a new pump station, site piping, 236,000-gallon welded steel storage tank, 5,000-gallon hydropneumatic tank, emergency generator and SCADA improvements, and demolition of an existing 33,000-gallon in-ground reservoir and pump station. Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate is $1,800,000 to $2,500,000.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from DBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project including, but not limited to, the following items: Welded Steel Tank, CMU Building, Metal Roofing, Concrete, Rebar, Excavation, Compaction, Paving, Fencing, Painting, HVAC, Demolition, Trucking, Electrical and Instrumentation. We will work with interested DBEs to create custom scopes of work/supply to meet their particular needs. We will encourage a consortium of DBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one DBE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested DBEs to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum DBE participation.
