Is seeking qualified DBEs

RTA Construction is soliciting proposals and quotes from all Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE)
for the City of Mount Shasta Pine Street Water System Improvements Project.

Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Pine Street Area Water System Improvements Project will
be received by City of Mt. Shasta at the office of City of Mt. Shasta City Hall, 305 N. Mt. Shasta Blvd., Mt. Shasta, CA 96067 or PACE Engineering, Inc., 5155 Venture Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 until 2:00 p.m. local time on February 8, 2022, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read from both location via Zoom. See City of Mt. Shasta's and PACE Engineering's websites for link to Zoom access. The Project consists of constructing up to ±10,300 feet of water main, 3,000 LF of water services, installation of 2 pressure reducing valve (PRV) stations, 15 fire hydrants, and other water system appurtenances.
Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate is $4,100,000 to $4,400,000.

RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from DBEs for all disciplines of work involved with this project. RTA Construction, Inc. is offering the following items of work to DBEs including but not limited to: traffic control, saw cutting, excavation, backfill pipeline installation, mechanical, material supply, trucking, asphalt, striping. We will work with interested DBEs to create custom scopes of work/supply to meet their particular needs. We will encourage a consortium of DBEs when any particular item(s) of interest are too large for one DBE firm to handle individually. We will work with interested DBEs to divide total requirements into economically feasible, smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum DBE participation.
