REQUESTING PRICING FOR DONALD C. TILLMAN EQUALIZATION AND EMERGENCY BACKUP POWER AND JAPANESE GARDEN LAKE EFFLUENT BYPASS PROJECT IN VAN NUYS, CALIFORNIA. THE PROJECT IS A NEW AWPF PRIMARY EQUALIZATION BASIN CONSTRUCTED NEXT TO THE EXISTING PRIMARY CLARIFIERS. THE PRIMARY EFFLUENT EQUALIZATION BASIN WILL PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL 6.75 MG OF STORAGE VOLUME WITH (5) 314 FT. X 47.5 FT EQUALIZATION (EQ) TANKS. THE NEW BASIN WILL HAVE AN OVERALL DIMENSION OF 360' X 263'. THIS WILL INCLUDE THE INLET CHANNEL, EQ TANKS, AND INLET AND OUTLET PIPE GALLERY. THE CONCRETE TANK CONSISTS OF (5) COMPARTMENTS (25' TOP-TO-BOTTOM) FOR VARIOUS OPERATION SCENARIOS. THE BASIN COMPARTMENT WALLS AND ROOF WILL HAVE A PLASTIC LINER FOR CONCRETE CORROSION PROTECTION. TO ACCOMMODATE A FUTURE AWPF, THE AWPF PRIMARY EQUALIZATION BASIN WILL INCLUDE A STRUCTURALLY REINFORCED CONCRETE ROOF SUPPORTED BY LOAD WALLS AND GRADE BEAMS. A NEW ODOR CONTROL SYSTEM LOCATED ON TOP OF THE AWPF EQ TANK TO CONTROL ODOR EMISSIONS DURING AWFP EQ OPERATION. A NEW 36-INCH DIAMETER DRAWDOWN PIPELINE WITH CONTROL MANIFOLD, WASHDOWN SYSTEM WITH CONTROL MANIFOLDS TO REMOVE SOLIDS. RELOCATION OF DUCT BANKS, HPE, STORM DRAINS, ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, AND LANDSCAPING. PROVE (2) NEW EMERGENCY DIESEL GENERATORS - 3000 KW, 3-PHASE, 4160V AND PROVISION FOR FUTURE GENERATOR. INCLUDE (1) GENERATOR PARALLELING SWITCHGEAR, GENERATOR CONTROL AND SYNCHRONIZING PANELS, POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS, AUXILIARY SWITCHGEAR, DOUBLE-ENDED IN THE NEMA 1 ENCLOSURE, DISCONNECT SWITCHES, STEPDOWN TRANSFORMERS, DISTRIBUTION PANELS, AND ASSOCIATED CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL WORK. PROVIDE (9) LARGE CAST IRON GATES LOCATED AT EACH SEWER INLET DIVERSION INFLUENT INTO DCTWRP. TWO GATES ARE AT AVORS, EACH 96" X 96", SIX GATES AT EVIS , 60" X 60", 84" X 84", 81" X 108", 78" X 78", 75" X 108", 81" X 108" AND ONE ISOLATION GATE 96" X 96". A TEMPORARY SEWER BYPASS SYSTEM INCLUDING PUMPING STATION FOR POSITIVE ISOLATION OF THE SEWER SEGMENTS. REMOVE AND REPLACE EIGHT GATES, FOUR AT PHASE I AND FOUR AT PHASE II LOCATED AT DCTWRP INFLUENT PUMP STATION. PROVIDE A RECIRCULATION LINE OF THE JAPANESE GARDEN LAKE EFFLUENT WATER BACK TO DCTWRP FOR TREATMENT, INSTALLATION OF DIVERSION AND JUNCTION STRUCTURE TO CONNECT NEW UNDERGROUND 16"- AGA PIPING LINE TO EXISTING 27"- RCP PIPING LINE AND 96"-RCP AVORS WITH ONE 16' KNIFE GATE ISOLATION VALVE AND 16' MAGNETIC FLOW METER IN SEPARATE VAULTS. INSTALLATION OF NEW UNDERGROUND 24' -AGA PIPING LINE WITH ONE 24' FLOW CONTROL BUTTERFLY VALVE AND ONE 24" KNIFE GATE LOCATION VALVE IN A VALE VAULT. INTEGRATE WITH EXISTING SYSTEMS, ELECTRICAL, INSTRUMENTATION AND STRUCTURES. REMOVE AND REPLACE ANY LANDSCAPE AND GRAVEL. REPLACE APPROXIMATE 8000 SQUARE FEET OF EXISTING 4" X 8" QUARRY TILE PAVING WITH NEW 12" X 24" STONE PAVING.
WALSH CONSTRUCTION IS ACCEPTING QUOTES FOR THE FOLLOWING SCOPES OF WORK: PIPELINES, CONCRETE, REBAR, GROUTING, MISC. METALS, CARPENTRY, FIBERGLASS REINFORCED PRODUCTS, PAINTING AND COATINGS, SIGNAGE, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, PLUMBING, HVAC, ELECTRICAL, SHORING, PAVING, FENCING, LANDSCAPING, MANHOLES, PROCESS PIPE AND PROCESS EQUIPMENT.

WIFIA Funding, Davis-Bacon Compliance, American Iron and Steel Certification (if applicable to scope)

Quotations must be valid for the same duration as specified by the Owner for the contract award. Conditions or exceptions in Subcontractor's quote are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing. Subcontractor scope including in any conditions or exceptions is required 24 HRs prior to bid deadline to allow proper evaluation. insurance. Subcontractor's will be required to sign a standard subcontract
agreement. Walsh Construction will work cooperatively with all qualified firms
