This project is located along the Pulaski Skyway on Route U.S. 1&9 between M.P. 54.17 and M.P. 53.55 in Jersey City, NJ in the County of Hudson.

The scope of work under this contract is briefly described as, but not limited to, the following:

1) Excavation and disposal of regulated material

2) Demolition and Reconstruction of Broadway Ramp including new steel framing, exothermic deck system, and cast-in-place concrete deck

3) Construction of a new full depth asphalt pavement and asphalt courses

4) Construction of new curb, concrete sidewalk, and beam guide rail

5) Construction of new site and bridge drainage

6) Maintenance and protection of traffic

7) Steel Repairs and retrofits

8) Installation of a new traffic signal system

9) Installation of signing and striping

10) Drilling of Micropile foundations

11) Bearing replacement

12) Erection of temporary support structures

13) Cleaning and painting of existing and new structural steel

14) Temporary shielding

15) Bridge railing and ornamental railing

SUBCONTRACTING & MATERIAL SUPPLY OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to, the following: Trucking/Hauling, Asphalt Milling & Paving, Traffic Control Items and Maintenance, Demolition Work, Excavation/Grading, Aggregates, Bridge Railing/Ornamental Railing, Ready-Mixed Concrete, Misc. Concrete Flatwork, Saw Cutting, Lead Abatement, Asbestos Removal, Lighting/Electrical, Traffic Signals, Reinforcing Steel, Structural Steel, Steel Repair Materials, Bearings, Strip Seal Expansion Joint Assemblies, Bridge Painting, Bridge Drainage, Drainage Pipes and Drainage Structures, Castings, Cleaning of Existing Drainage Systems, Surveying, Field Office Trailer and Supplies, Line Striping, Shear Studs, SIP Forms, Soil Erosion & Sediment Control, Drilled Micropiles, Guide Rails, Temporary Sheeting, Temporary Support Structures, Landscaping, Temporary Shielding, Security Fence, Temporary Fence, Vibration Monitoring, Crack and Spall Repairs

We are encouraging NJ SAVI SBE Subcontractors and Vendors who are registered with NJ SAVI found at the following internet address: https://www20.state.nj.us/TYTR_SAVI/vendorSearch.jsp to participate in this project.

All proposals must include: Bid Item Numbers; Addenda's; Copy of NJ SAVI SBE Certificate*;

*All NJ SAVI SBE certificates must be current at bid time and remain current for the duration of the project.

Plans, Specifications, Addendum, and Boiler Plate Templates of our Subcontract/Purchase Order ("Agreement") are available on SmartBidNet.com, your firm will be required to execute IF AWARDED the contract. You must base your bid upon the contractual terms and conditions as they are reflected in the Agreement, without amendment. The upstream contractual environment on the Project is demanding and we will not entertain revision to the contractual boilerplate, which should instead be reflected in your bid price.
