City of Weed Vista Drive Rehabilitation Project

RTA Construction, Inc. is seeking participation from all certified Small, Minority and Women's Business Enterprises subcontractors and vendors for the following project: State-Mandated Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Improvement Project. This project will occur in the City of Mount Shasta, CA.

RTA Construction, Inc. is seeking participation from all certified Small, Minority and Women's Business Enterprises subcontractors and vendors for ALL DISCIPLINES (Including but not limited to electrical, concrete, paving, rebar, traffic control, excavation, hauling, striping) involved in this project.

Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Vista Drive Rehabilitation Project will be received by City of Weed at the office of City Hall at 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094 until 3:00 p.m. local time on January 26, 2021, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of roadway surfaces on Vista Drive in the City of Weed from the intersection of South Weed Blvd. on the west side of Interstate 5 to the Pilot Truck Stop on the east. This will include the removal and replacement of approximately 117,000 square feet of existing asphalt concrete pavement (including underlying base material) and placement of 1.25-foot-thick jointed plane concrete pavement (JPCP) on top of 0.25-foot-thick asphalt concrete together with installation of infrastructure including traffic signalization at the Black Butte Drive intersection, overhead lighting, curb, gutter, sidewalk, striping, signage, utility lids, manholes, storm drains, and storm drain inlets. The construction cost estimate range is $4,000,000 to $4,400,000. A non-mandatory, pre-bid conference will take place January 15, 2021, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the office of City of Weed City Hall.


RTA Construction, Inc. is inviting all certified Small, Minority and Women's Business Enterprises subcontractors and vendors for ALL DISCIPLINES of work included in this project. Subcontractors and vendors must provide current certification. All subcontractors must have a current contractor's license, current California DIR Registration, insurance coverage, and worker's compensation for the entire duration of the contract. All subcontractors will be required to enter a subcontractor agreement with RTA Construction, Inc.. Project plans and specifications can be viewed at RTAC's office location.
