Is seeking qualified DBEs

Structural rehabilitation at deicing Pump Stations G, L, and N; pump removal and reinstallation at Pump Stations G and L; providing safety netting at Pump Stations D, G, L, N, and S; and spill containment and influent/effluent piping retrofits at the deicing treatment facility.

Subcontractor and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: scheduling; quality control testing; concrete; cast-in-place concrete; saw cutting; waterproofing; electrical; erosion control; asphalt paving; aggregate supply; curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; mechanical (process integration); trucking (dump trucks).

Engineer's Estimate: $500,000

Participation Goals: DBE - 5%

James W. Fowler Co. will assist DBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to DBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
