Is seeking qualified DBEs, MBEs, WBEs

Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct approximately 2,900 linear feet of sewer main, 1,800 linear feet of water main, traffic signal and illumination system upgrades and other such appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions.

Subcontracting and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: trucking (dump trucks) subcontractor; paving subcontractor; concrete flat work subcontractor; traffic control subcontractor.

Where economically feasible, we are willing to divide total contract requirements into smaller portions or quantities to permit maximum participation by M/W/DBE firms. James W. Fowler Co. will assist M/W/DBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to M/W/DBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
