Is seeking qualified DBEs

Work to be performed under this contract is as follows: 24", 12", 8" and 4" piping, 42" steel casing, and Jack and Bore under I-15 Freeway at Bellegrave Avenue. The project includes potholing, trenching, backfill, compaction, associated pipeline appurtenances, testing disinfection, and restoration for complete piping system.

Subcontracting and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: Aggregate Supply; Asphalt Paving; Auger Boring; Concrete Flatwork; Flagging/Traffic Control; Irrigation; Landscaping; Sawcutting; Striping; Surveying; Trucking (Dump Trucks); Waterworks Supply.


This project requires subcontractors to sign SWRCB Form 4500-3. The form will be available to download through our website along with the bidding documents required to submit quotes.

Where economically feasible, we are willing to divide total contract requirements into smaller portions or quantities to permit maximum participation DBE firms. James W. Fowler Co. will assist DBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to DBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
