Granite Construction Northeast, Inc. (Granite) is planning to submit a proposal for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) Bus Terminal - Parking Level Truss No. 1 Strand Installation Project (BT-254.186)

The Project consists, in general, of furnishing & installing a post-tensioning tendon with the bottom chord of Truss No. 1, repairing the concrete encasement chord of Truss No. 1 beneath Automobile Ramp E92, & repairing the bottom chord wrap for Truss No. 1 & related Work at the Port Authority Bus Terminal & the vicinity thereof in New York, NY.

The PANYNJ Bus Terminal Parking Level Strand No. 1 Installation project has M/WBE participation opportunities, and Granite is seeking qualified PANYNJ certified M/WBE's to provide Subcontract/Supplier/Service Opportunities for categories that potentially include, but are not necessarily limited to:

Concrete Repairs; Demolition; Electrical; Field Office/Supplies; Fuel Supply; Janitorial Services; Lead Paint Abatement; MPT; Misc Metals; Noise Monitoring; Painting/Coating (struct stl) (incl cleaning); Photography; Plumbing; Rebar; Safety; Scaffold/Sidewalk Shed/Access Stairs; Scheduling (CPM); Signage (Aluminum & Wood); Structural Monitoring; Structural Steel; Survey; Trucking

Bid Date: Wednesday, January 15, 2020

Quotes Due: Friday, January 10, 2020

Goals (PANYNJ Certification):
MBE - 20%
WBE - 10%

Project Duration: 550 Calendar Days (i.e. 18 months)
