Jett Industries, Inc. is actively soliciting quotations for Akron WWTF Improvements-Phase 1 RBC Replacement, Village of Akron, NY. This contract has a 20% participation goal from MBE and WBE Businesses. The project bids on January 8, 2019. Please provide your detailed scope of work and Final Quote by 12:00 on January 6, 2019

The following general summary of the work to be performed by the general and trades construction contractors. It does not supersede the requirements of the detailed technical specifications.

General Construction involves the removal of the existing roofing materials, existing Rotating Biological Contractors (RBC) including, bearings, motors and electrical equipment, existing aeration equipment, piping and diffusers and installation of new roofing system, new RBC's complete including startup, new aeration and diffuser equipment including start up. Note that a maximum of 2 RBC's only to be replaced at a time and the contractor shall provide all bypass necessary to keep remaining 3 RBC's Operational. Upon Completion of new RBC's , they will need to be operation for a minimum of 30 days to allow for bacterial growth on the media, before additional RBC's can replaced.
