California Engineering Contractors (CEC) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
Concrete Barrier Rail - Items 167-171; Earthwork, Grading, and Paving - Items 34-35,38,39,40-42,65-69,70-81; Electrical - Items 183-185; Erosion Control - Items 58-62,64; Fencing and Railing - Items 139-143, 160, 162-166, 172, 173; Landscaping - Items 44-57, 63; Minor Concrete - Items 127-136, 161; Signs - Items 98-99, 146-159; Traffic Striping & Pavement Markers - Items 144-145, 177-182; Utilities - Items 112-121, 137

CEC requires 100% Payment & Performance Bonds from a single, treasury-listed surety subject to our approval. CEC will pay bond premiums up to 1.5%. Please include a bond premium with your quote. All Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting the contract requirements, and must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Please include both your State Contactor License No. and DIR No. on your quote. Subcontracts awarded on this project will use CEC's standard subcontract form without modifications
Plans and specifications are available for viewing in our Pleasanton office between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment. They may also be obtained from the Caltrans website or our Dropbox File sharing server. Please contact us for instructions on downloading from Dropbox.
