Lane-Schiavone VWB JV: The joint venture consists of The Lane Construction Corporation (Lane) and Schiavone Construction Co. LLC (Schiavone). (HNTB) as Lead Designer firm to complement our construction and DB experience. Through working together on large projects of similar scope to this project, our firms share an established commitment to excellence and embrace project goals as our own in our delivery approach to ensure success and mitigate impacts to motorists, surrounding communities and the environment.

Project Scope:

Contract term: 36 Months

The Project involves Design-Build services for the VAN WYCK EXPRESSWAY (VWE) CAPACITY AND ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS TO JOHN F. KENNEDY (JFK) AIRPORT PROJECT - CONTRACT 1.

The Project is located in the City of New York, Queens County, New York.

The work envisioned for this project will include the replacement and retrofit of the superstructure and substructure on nine bridges over the Van Wyck Expressway (VWE), in order to prepare for the future widening of the VWE mainline between Hoover Avenue and the southern end of Federal Circle. The project also includes intersection improvements to ensure ADA compliance, replacement/upgrading traffic signals, and relocation of two ramps.

Replacement to lengthen the following structures:
BIN 1055630 - Rockaway Boulevard over the Van Wyck Expressway
BIN 1055650 - Linden Boulevard over the Van Wyck Expressway
BIN 1055670 - Liberty Avenue over the Van Wyck Expressway
BIN 1055680 - 101st Avenue over the Van Wyck Expressway

Replacement or Retrofit to lengthen the following structures:
BIN 1055620 - 133rd Avenue over the Van Wyck Expressway
BIN 1055640 - Foch Boulevard over the Van Wyck Expressway
BIN 1055660 - 109th Ave. over the Van Wyck Expressway
BIN 1055700 - Jamaica Ave over the Van Wyck Expressway
BIN 1055710 - Hillside Avenue over the Van Wyck Expressway

Entrance and Exit Ramp Relocation
Upgrading curb ramps for ADA compliance
Replacing/upgrading the traffic signals

Please provide a price proposal to Furnish/Install or Supply your scope or supply of work including but not limited to work and jobsite delivery; all in accordance with and conforming to the project contract documents and additional requirements necessary to complete the work as specified herein. The referenced work scope shall also be performed to comply with the requirements of the project schedule, milestones, including work staging and phasing, work restrictions and constraints, site access conditions and be coordinated with all other aspects of the project.
