D.A. Collins Construction Co., Inc. welcomes quotes from all qualified subcontractors, services, material suppliers, and trucking firms for complete or portions of the work for all phases.

This project will replace the State Route 28 Bridge over the Esopus Creek between Route 212 and Riseley Road with a bridge that does not have piers or abutments within the creek. Route 28 is located in a valley within the Catskill Park and runs parallel to the Esopus Creek. Due to the proximity and elevation to the creek the bridge is susceptible to flash flooding, very fast flowing and quickly rising water levels that cause scour around the bridge support piers located within the creek. After every significant rain fall the bridge is regularly closed for safety concerns that require inspection and normally result in emergency aid and follow-up emergency repair. Bridge is located in Hamlet of Mount Tremper within the Town of Shandaken, Ulster County.
