The work for this project will include the replacement and retrofit of the superstructure and substructure on nine bridges over the Van Wyck Expressway (VWE), in order to prepare for the future widening of the VWE mainline between Hoover Avenue and the southern end of Federal Circle. The project also includes intersection improvements to ensure ADA compliance, replacement/upgrading traffic signals, and relocation of two ramps.

Scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to: utilities, lighting, drainage, pavement, milling, fencing, guiderails, deck, sidewalk, striping, rebar, signage, clearing and grubbing, MPT, Geotechnical, boring, shoring, piles, concrete, structural steel, bearing, decking, tolling, electrical, retaining walls, landscaping and other trades typically associated with this type of work. Work for this project includes but is not limited to: utilities, lighting, drainage, pavement, milling, fencing, guiderails ,deck, sidewalk, striping, rebar, signage, clearing and grubbing, MPT, Geotechnical, boring, shoring, piles, concrete, structural steel, bearing, decking, tolling, landscaping, electrical, retaining walls and other trades typically associated with this type of work.

This project is a State Funded Project and has M/WBE Goals assigned to it.
