SCOPE: General School Modernization & Reconstruction including ADA Access, Seismic Upgrades & Fire/Life-Safety Upgrades. Construction of a new 14,000 SF bldg. that includes a media center, 7 general ed classrooms, a music classroom, offices, restrooms, & other support areas. Construction of the new classroom bldg. includes soil modification, over excavation & re-compaction, install of site retaining walls, site utilities, paving, landscaping & irrig. Also includes modernization wk within the (E) bldg including hazmat removal, modernization of a new admin. area, art classroom & the kitchen. Work within the (E) bldg. will also include replacement of the boilers, & install of new phone & data cabling along with other misc. utility & site upgrades.

PLA & Prevailing Wage Required / 5% Retention / See General Conditions 007200 Article 11 for Insurance Req's / MEP & FS Subs MUST be Prequalified / See Suppl. Conditions 007300 for Phasing Diagram - LDs - Duration / RFI Due 7/30/19 / 2 Year Warranty

It is now State of CA law to provide CSLB license #'s & DIR #'s on sub lists - make sure to have them on your bid scope!
Alten Construction may implement a CCIP (Contractor Controlled Insurance Program) on this or any Project
Subcontractors & Suppliers are required to comply with Alten's standard subcontract(s) which can be found on our website www.altenconstruction.com

PREVAILING WAGE RATES, INSURANCE FORM CG2010 11/85 (EQUIVALENT IS CG2010 0704 & CG203 COMBINED) & WEEKLY CERTIFIED PAYROLL REPORTS ARE REQUIRED. 100% PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT BONDS MAY BE REQUIRED. ALTEN CONSTRUCTION, INC. WILL PAY UP TO 1.5% OF BOND PREMIUM.
