Is seeking qualified MBEs, WBEs

Kiewit is actively soliciting quotations for the Moses-Adirondack 345kV transmission line project in St. Lawrence and Lewis counties for New York Power Authority (NYPA). We will be bidding the project that has a combined goal of 25% for MBE and WBE, and 6% SDVOB participation. The work includes, but is not limited to clearing, SWPPP controls, access roads (stone and crane mats), deep foundations (drilled piers, rock anchors and micropiles), structure erection and wire pulling for the construction of approximately 80 miles of two single circuit 345kV transmission lines from Massena to Croghan, NY.

In addition to the scopes listed above, Kiewit is also looking for material suppliers for aggregate, concrete, grounding, silt fence, rebar, rock anchors, steel casing and timber mats. Other services needed are fuel supply, wood pole disposal, trucking, concrete testing, crane rental, fiber splicing and testing and helicopter.
