Bonds may be required, if so Valentine Corporation can assist. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Cal Trans requirements and will be required to sign the standard Valentine Corporation Subcontract Agreement. Plans and specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 111 Pelican Way San Rafael between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request for this project and we will send you the specs/plans.
