Project description: Upgrade the Baggage Handling System (BHS). This project includes Explosive Detection canning (EDS) machine recapitalization, to reduce the existing 8 EDS devices to 3 EDS devices; as well as reconfigure Checked Baggage Inspection systems (CBIS) / Checked Baggage Resolution Area (CBRA) to allow additional passenger queuing space.
This project includes a preference of DBEs certified by the CIty of Houston, TX
Plans and specifications are available as a free download. Interested subcontractors will be provided an Invitation to Bid (ITB) with project link to bid documents.
