Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors, suppliers & truckers for construction on the Measure A - Group 10 Pavement Rehabilitation Project Nave Drive and Bel Marin Keys Boulevard project. The work to be done includes, but is not limited to: rehabilitation of the pavement on Nave Drive between Alameda Del Prado and Bel Marin Keys Blvd, Bel Marin Keys Blvd from Nave Drive to 200 ft. North of Digital Drive, and Bolling Drive from Nave Drive to Marin Valley Drive. The improvements will include construction of ADA compliant access ramps, removal and replacement of damaged concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk, replacement of existing traffic signal detection, pavement repairs consisting of asphalt concrete dig-out and patches, slurry seal application at some locations, grinding of the existing pavement, placement of reinforcing fabric, hot mix asphalt overlay, replacement of pavement striping and markings, installation of new traffic signs and other items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, standard specifications, or these special provisions to be performed, placed, constructed, or installed.

Mr. Jim Petnic (707/585-1221 or jimp@ghilotti.com) is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans, specifications and requirements, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance and any technical assistance. GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)

Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. Project plans and specifications, including Notice to Contractors, Special Provisions, and proposal forms, are available from the City of Novato Website, http://www.novato.org, (click on the "Business" tab near the top of the page and select "Doing Business with the City" in the dropdown menu). Paper copies of project documents will not be issued by the City. Plans may also be viewed through local plan rooms, builder's exchanges, or Dodge Scan. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Req: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC's written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on GCC's website (www.ghilotti.com/subcontractors/documents) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.
