The work under this Contract involves the rehabilitation of one bridge and the surrounding areas in the Borough of Bronx. The Bridge Identification Number (BIN) and location of the Bridge is: BIN 2-24140-9 Grand Concourse Bridge over Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line. The general scope of work is to rehabilitate the bridge superstructure.

M/WBE Goal: 20.30%

The scope of work is briefly described as follows:
- Installation of all WZTC devices, signs, fences and gates for multiple stages of bridge reconstruction and removal of these items after completion of work.
- Removal and replacement of the roadway bridge superstructure
- Removal and replacement of the concrete deck and asphalt overlay on bridge
- Reconstruction of bridge approach slabs
- Reconstruction of on-grade approach pavements
- Replacement of certain deteriorated elements of the subway structure below the highway bridge
- Reconstruction and relocation of NYCDEP Sewers on the bridge approaches
- Temporary Support and/or permanent relocation of NYCDEP water mains, expansion chambers and hydrants within the project limits
- Relocation of existing street lighting and installation of additional street lighting fixtures
- Temporary support and permanent relocation of FDNY Fire Emergency System Cable

In addition to the bridge and approach work, the project will also include the following pedestrian-related improvements:
- Construction of curb extensions to reduce crossing distances at the intersections of Grand Concourse and 151st and 153rd Streets
- Installation of ADA compliant pedestrian ramps and high-visibility crosswalks at all pedestrian crossing within the project limits
- Widening of the raised concrete median in Grand Concourse to reduce pedestrian crossing distances
- Expansion of the raised concrete island at the MTA bus stop on Grand Concourse at northbound 153rd Street

Please provide a price proposal to Furnish/Install or Supply your scope or supply of work including but not limited to work and jobsite delivery; all in accordance with and conforming to the project contract documents and additional requirements necessary to complete the work as specified herein. The referenced work scope shall also be performed to comply with the requirements of the project schedule, Milestones, including work staging and phasing, work restrictions and constraints, site access conditions and be coordinated with all other aspects of the project.
